Full-time Permanent Lecturer in Gerontology
The Gerontology Institute at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking applicants for a permanent Full-Time Lecturer Position beginning in the 2016-2017 academic year. This position comes with promotion opportunities outlined in the non-tenure track promotion manual at Georgia State University.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Gerontology or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Social Work) with specialization in aging. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach Introduction to Gerontology and Psychology of Aging. Ideal candidates also will have experience developing relationships and connecting students with the broader aging services network, effectively engaging technology in the classroom, and teaching a variety of other gerontology courses.
