Consider an MA degree in Gerontology?
Now is a great time to consider furthering your education with a Master’s Degree in Gerontology at Georgia State University. The Gerontology Institute is now accepting applications for admission for Fall 2017. The deadline for applications MA program is April 15. Graduate assistantships are available for qualified applicants.

The Gerontology Institute offers an intimate, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which to learn. MA students have the opportunity to participate in cutting edge research on gerontology, learn from expert practitioners, participate in internships, and volunteer to make a difference through our active student organizations. A Master’s degree in Gerontology from GSU leads to stable employment for the majority of our graduates. Graduates of our programs are serving older adult populations in a variety of ways, through employment in direct service, governmental, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. About one-fourth of our MA graduates go on to doctoral programs in Gerontology, Sociology, and other related fields.
